Rory Gallagher leads The Behavioural Insights Team's work across Australia and the Asia-Pacific. He is a co-author of "Think Small: The surprisingly simple ways to reach big goals" (2017).
Rory holds a Ph.D. in health and behavior change from Cambridge University. He has been a Visiting Fellow at the Singapore Civil Service College since 2014. Rory worked in the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and the UK Department of Education.
Dr. Rory Gallagher has been an integral part of BIT since its inception in 2010, playing a crucial role in overseeing hundreds of behavioral projects across the public, private, and non-government sectors. His expertise spans diverse areas, including but not limited to employment, education, housing, and healthcare.
He is passionate about delivering social impact through applied behavioral science, building thriving teams, and scaling what works.
Originally from Britain, Rory Gallagher has lived in Sydney since 2012.
