Morgan's life is a mess. She has no money, no job, no friends, and is isolated from her family.
Morgan has sworn off men. After being trapped in an abusive, loveless, restrictive marriage, she has no friends, no money, her family doesn't speak to her, and she has no means of supporting herself. She is hooked on drugs—thanks to her husband—a prisoner in her own home, and possibly pregnant. She wants out of the marriage and nothing to do with the opposite sex.
When Morgan finally decides to escape the hell that has become her normal, she is arrested and once again at the mercy of the man who once swore to love and protect her. He presses charges and Morgan finds herself all alone in a cold, frightening jail cell. After shunning her friends and family for years, she finally tries calling her sister for help, but doesn't really believe anyone will come to her rescue.
Morgan soon finds herself in the fight of her life as she struggles to survive, battling demons to regain some semblance of the life she once dreamed of living. But, can she conquer all the seemingly insurmountable obstacles to become the woman she dreams of being? Will she be able to salvage and repair her past relationships with family and friends? Will she ever trust herself and her feelings in order to find true love and happiness or will her past continue to haunt and control her? And what about the handsome hunk, Travis? Will she give him a chance to let love grow and develop or will she push him away in order to protect herself?
