Rain dripped down my collar as I switched from one blistered foot to the other. The denim jacket provided a temporary cover over his head instead of an umbrella, but it didn't stop the water from seeping through. I just want to find a taxi, go home, kick these stupid boots, and jump into a nice warm bath.
