The Journey to Antar is the first of four volumes in the Mischka's Tale fantasy series. It tells the story of young Mischka's search for his lost sister, from his boyhood home in the mountains to the great city of Antar far to the east. Along the way, he joins a troupe of singers, sharing with them both the dangers they face and the joys of music.
