In this work, Sarah Helen Whitman, poet, essayist, transcendentalist, Spiritualist and a romantic interest of Edgar Allan Poe used a new method of critical more dispassionate, and more authentic as well as moral analysis to study Edgar Allan Poe and his works, in order to show readers a more authentic image of the writer.
