About the Book: BUHARINOMICS
The curiosity in writing this book was informed by unusual economic and political activities in Nigeria, a country of an estimated population of 191 million people and a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of $397.47 billion (USD) in 2018.
History was made when a democratically ruling party lost a presidential election and handed over power to the newly formed main opposition party in 2015. The economic bust due largely to mismanagement and the crash in crude oil prices at the international market brought the economy to its knees by way of a recession that lasted 5 quarters.
The new administration of Muhammadu Buhari had to salvage the unusual challenges that included thinking out of the box with policy measures this book tries to illustrate in graphical details based on empirical evidence at the author’s disposal.
