It has always felt important to me that a book’s design should reflect the spirit of the writings it contains, and you have all done marvelous work; more than any other, this book captures my inner world

THE GREAT WORK
You are all the places you have been,
the sights you have seen,
the marvels you have achieved,
and every soul you have touched.

another brushstroke on the canvas.
So rise,

and see a work of art.

THE COMPOSER
Remember,
you are the composer
of your own life
and happiness.
If you don’t like the music,
change the arrangement.

You may pick up the pieces
and plant flowers with the fragments;
who you become moving forward is always
your choice.

A SPRING MORNING DAY
Finding you
was like drawing the curtains
on a warm spring morning day;
a breath of light
and new beginnings,
as though the
world itself had been
remade.

. If you
are ever to be mine, it will not be because
I have plucked you from the
earth for myself but because
I too have grown as
full and free as the wilderness,
and you have chosen
to grow here.

Ask yourself the question one final time and listen closely. The answer you are searching for will come to you in one sudden moment;
hear it, trust it,
