The woman in chapter four of St. John was in a drought. Her soul was dehydrated. Her heart was depleted. Her emotions were stuck. Yes, she was in a drought—until she encountered Jesus. From the very first sip of His love to the very last drop of her life-changing experience of her encounter with Him, she finally got the rain she was looking for.
