Tracy Barnhart was born and raised in Princeton, West Virginia, where she grew up swimming and playing in the band. After working as an environmental consultant for many years, Tracy opened Mini Me Geology with her own line of rock and mineral kits designed for kids of all ages. As a geologist and author, she found a way to join her love of rocks with her love of a good plot. Tracy lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with her husband, two kids and their very large Great Pyrenees, Brutus.
