Imogen Edwards-Jones is a renowned British author, journalist and screenwriter. Her Babylon series has sold over 1.5 million copies in the UK alone, been translated into some twenty different languages worldwide and made into two BBC Primetime TV shows.
Imogen Edwards-Jones was born in Birmingham. Her educational journey began at Malvern Girls' College in Worcestershire. This school later merged to become Malvern St James School. Edwards-Jones then pursued higher education at the University of Bristol, earning a degree in Russian. Furthering her studies, she attended City University London.
Edwards-Jones gained fame with her Babylon series, starting with Hotel Babylon in 2004. This series offers an insider's view into various industries.
Hotel Babylon delves into the hotel world, revealing the lives of staff and guests. This book was adapted into a popular BBC1 TV series, showcasing Edwards-Jones' influence in the media.

Her latest book, The Witch's Daughter (2023), is a mesmerizing narrative set against the backdrop of revolutionary Russia. It follows Nadezhda, who reluctantly acknowledges her witch heritage. Her mother, Militza, infamous for conjuring Rasputin, is haunted by his specter. As Nadezhda navigates the chaotic streets of Petrograd, she carries a book filled with generational magic.

Edwards-Jones is co-founder of The Great Big Book Club, an online book community, and is on the board of The Criterion Theatre in West End.
