Many of us are overstressed, far too often. This is simply a product of the world we live in. Most of us work very hard, doing work that is very stressful. We have deadlines, people yelling at us, threats of layoffs. And our lifestyle - probably the happiness and health of our family, or future family - depends on our success. Then we come home through busy streets or trains. Then we have 20 chores to do when all we want to do is fall asleep in front of the TV. The baby cries, friends get upset because we can't go out, and the pile of dishes in the sink grows. Meanwhile, we're all too aware of all the things we should be doing, but can't/don't do. On Instagram, it seems like everyone is looking for love or traveling the world. Magazine covers show us perfect, beautiful people. And heck, we don't get any younger!.
