Tony Bridwell graduated from Hobart College in 1949 and received an MA from Northwestern University in 1962. During his 40 years in public relations and fundraising, he worked for Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Northwestern University and the Mayo Foundation. He has written and privately printed A Soldier in World War II and Old Familiar Faces: A Story About Growing Up During the 1930's, in addition to numerous newspaper articles including coverage of America's Cup Races. Tony spent three years scouring Minnesota's historical resources to develop the materials for It Happened in Minnesota. He and his wife Lorraine divide their time between Rochester, Minnesota and Naples, Florida. They have two sons, a daughter and four grandsons.
