Gerry Woodhouse

The author, Gerry Woodhouse, is a very, very, young man, even though he's in his seventies. He was educated at a grammar school, having won a scholarship, which meant that his poor parents didn't have to pay for his education. He worked for one company, during his working life, and carried out many managerial roles in areas such as salaries, wages, welfare, personnel, insurance, and, latterly, as the general manager of the company's Sports and Social Club. The company, as the author knew it, was bought out by an investment company, as a result of which, many people, including the author, were made redundant. Gerry founded a gardening company, which was very well used, and he and his wife entered the world of buying and selling antiques. When he and his wife retired from those two occupations, they moved to East Anglia. The author became a church warden, and, latterly served as verger. He now occupies his time in writing. Lord Damnus is his first novel that stands a chance of becoming a bestseller. He is currently writing another novel, which will be finished shortly. This novel is even better than Lord Damnus, which, itself, is an outstanding novel. Their antiques experiences, together with the author's church duties, have greatly contributed to the Lord Damnus novel.
