Edward Gordon was raised on a sheep station outside of Trangie, western New South Wales, where he unearthed a desire to write during 'slow times' on the land. He has travelled Australia and abroad, working as a fruit picker, rouseabout, waiter, removalist, gardener, labourer, salesman, ESL teacher, massage therapist and a farmer among other things. He is currently teaching secondary English. In 2006, he published "Turned Skyward".
